Default Bearings

I am building a ~500 HP 454 and had to have the crank and rod turn 0.010 over. There are a tremendous amount of choices of metals depending on if you are replacement, performance, or race only.

What is the general thoughts on bear materials? I don't mind spending extra money, but I want to spend it on the right products.

I pretty much only use Clevite H series. I do recommend the extra money on the coated versions.
