Default Tidewater Engines, anybody heard/ of dealt with??

Found them on Ebay, so they must be good, ha ha, seriously though has anyone ever dealt with them, they say they blueprint everything, and sound knowledgeable on the phone, searched the web and didn't find anything negative about them, they also guarantee engines for 2 years..... Any input, their prices are excellent..
Any input would be great
Thanks,
Joe

What state?? Maybe post the builders name or owners name. I know of some "builders" in the Tidewater area of VA I would stay away from.

I was in the Tidewater area and was bored, really bored, and thought of this thread so I decided to check out Tidewater Engines. Seemed to be a standard small machine shop that rebuilds all kind of engines for vehicles and marine. They told me they mostly do stock rebuilds on marine. Like you said seemed knowledgeable on engine but didn't seem like a performance boat guy, not that it's makes him any less of an engine builder. Don't know if this helps or just leaves you with more questions but thought I would pass it along. If I can help in any other way let me know.
