Default 95 22 daytona with k planes

has any one tryed this boat with trim taps i am ruinig a black hawk drive an was thinking of try this to see if it will plane out better/faster

I had the Dana marine version on my 03 22. It helped plaining time and took out the porpoise at low and high speeds.

so would you recomend them my 22 is a black hawk drive boat so it runs night an day from brovo drive

I would think it would be a great improvement on the plaining time. You would want the hydraulic tabs. Give Dana Marine a call and talk to Bob, he helped me with the set up on mine.

I had the large Dana tabs on mt 25 Daytona,and loved them.They were mounted further out then the one's pictured, though.

is ther a differnce between tunnel tabs an the k planes witch is better

A tunnal tab is for keeping the air pushed up under the boat. If you gain speed and trim high the boat will pick up and the air blows out the back of the tunnals. By lowering tunnal tabs a 1/4" or so it will push the air back under the boat giving you a smoother ride.

well i realy need help planeing the black hawk is real weight sentive an is down right slow coming out of the hole i am not trying to be a drag boat but when i am loaded with only me an three other people it takes longer then a 40ft cat

well i dont know if you know the black hawk drive but is counter rotating props an is some what of a surface drive so right know i am runing 27p labed with 560 hp an that right off the dyno i will be going up to 29p or 31p i blow the 27s off just under 90mph
