Default Another boat speaker Question

Just need to decide on all around good sound. These will be running at about 160 hz and up. Anybody using the Kicker ones shown here. Power running any of the three will not be an issue.

Thanks,

I can tell you the JL's are great.. never ran the others.. I have 2 sets of 770's and a total of 8 6.5 speakers running on 3 600/4 MHD amps.. started the process almost 3 years ago with the 770's and one set of 6.5's.. slowly upgraded.. but what U have not had to do yet is replace.. that speaks for JL quality..

Just my own opinion. I think the JL are a step above the other 2.
Just my opinion. I have had many many people comment on how crisp and great quality my system is.

I need a good set of 6.5 speakers too and keep going back to these because they pull 2.7 ohms anstead of 4 like most 6.5s.

All polks are marine rated

Are you running this with your m770's being your main source of base? Just curious. I am thinking a very similar set up along with one perhaps even two 12"w6 on a jl 1000/1. Those 600/4 hd amps are nice. Are you running them 2 or 4 ohm on the highs?

Thanks,
John

Does DC Gold make 8" two way? I've heard many good things about DC also.

I run one Alpine PDX 4.150 to 8 DC Golds speakers. I got the amp off ebay for less than $400.
