My boys are having lung surgery

Well the decision was finally made. After much cogitation, soul searching, and finally finding an insurance company that will accept it, my boys are going in for lung-enhancement surgery. This was a tough decision for the mother and I. Although the boys are a little smaller than most, they still run and play hard without a whisper of problems. I guess some parents will probably consider us superficial for subjecting our boys to unnecessary surgery. We understand their concerns. But, we came to the decision that if the boys were ever going to be contenders, this enhancement was necessary.
The good Dr. Semper has been contacted and he has been in touch with the specialist in Fresno. I sent the deposit up yesterday and it looks like I will be dropping the boys off right after the Spring Heat Wave poker run. If everything goes as planned, they will be up and running around the backyard in time for the Eliminator Regatta. Dr. Semper tells me this is a very easy procedure. Not out patient mind you, so I will need to leave the boys in Fresno for a while. That will break my heart, but I guess it’s necessary.
If you remember back to my earlier posts, my wife was never that excited about having twins. But over time, she has come to love and enjoy them. Especially all the attention she gets when we take them out in public. Well, she certainly was not happy about this surgery. It took a lot of convincing on my part to get her to agree. In fact, the decision was so difficult for her it made her nauseous. I offered to get her something to help her stomach – 7up, Pepto Bismal? She said no, just bring her a couple of carrots.

I know a lot of soul searching went onto this decision, I think you'll be pleased. The specialist in Fresno is highly recommended. As much fun as the boys have already brought into your lives, you'll be ecstatic over their new behavior post enhancement.
We'll have to get together again sometime, with the all the family so the boys can play together!
