I have a 2010 F350 with the factory 2.5" receiver. Tried Reese and Curt ball mounts and niether fit. Trailer shop called Reese Tech support and they say they they hear that 3-times a week. Sanded off the powder coat andi it's still .020 oversize. I can fly cut the ball mount but that's BS.
Anyone else had this problem?
Are there other brands that fit?

I have same truck. Just bought a "Titan" by Reese 18000# Ball mount w/ 3 1/2" rise. 2 5/16" Ball. I believe the part # was 45323 but double check I'm going by memory I don't have it in front of me. I'm wondering about a pin that locks. I'm sure someone makes one for the 2.5" receiver.

Personally I would rip that hitch off and take it to a recycler.
Spend a few bucks and get a real hitch that can actually carry some weight and not fall apart.
Check out a Reese or a Putnam.
