I have a pair of 1986 Johnson 300 V8 outboards in running condition. They are currently in the shop having the carbs cleaned, test run and some compression tests. I will post up the findings. These have been in storage for years. They have high performance gearcases with low water pickups, expanded exhaust, etc. Very good physical condition. Fresh water engines.

Heard one of these run yesterday at the shop where they were taken to run and test them. They were in storage over 12 years!

Waiting on the starters to come back from the rebuilder at the moment, so they can be run again. I should have compression numbers and some video by late next week, for anybody interested.

Dont know what kind of exhaust he has on it but it sure sound sweet like a like my Kawasaki H-2 used to sound with expansion chamber but 5 more cyinders

This is a long shot but you don't by chance still have these motors do you?
