Default What am I missing in the picture? HP500

Just had a few questions for those who would know.

What do those black and white wires go to? The ones zip tied to the oil line, that go into the oil filter adapter? I see they go into some kind of switch or sensor, not sure for what though???

Also, the single purple and white wire, what does that go to?

And last the black wire with the eyelet? I am guessing that goes to the mercathode which is not on right now?

I believe they go to the drive fluid resevoir which is usually mounted on the transom. They are for the level sensor in the bottom of the bottle.

Smitty is correct , And the Purple/White is what you ground out to put your engine into base timing.
