Who makes the best programmer for my truck? 2005 GMC Sierra 6.0. I can get a deal on Edge and Bully Dog through work but I've heard that Diablo Sport is a good programmer too. My ideal upgrade is a Duramax but this winter's been good to me and I just paid the truck off so I'm gonna stick with what I've got. Thanks for your input.

you should check out westers garage, give him a call or email and tell him what you are doing with the truck what kind of gas you are running and he will do a custom program for your truck it will give you more power than an off the shelf programmer.

anyone have any real world results with these on the chevy 6.0 gas engine?
i have an 04 silverado 2500hd ext cab and have contemplated a hypertech, but anyone i've spoken to has said it is a waste of money...no real increases to be had...

I'm currently in the middle of the process of getting a custom tune for my '03 6.0 through www.blackbearperformance.com
I'm doing the scan cable tune, which means they send out a cable and data log device. You connect to a laptop, drive around for a while then email the data back to them. They analyze and look for any potential trouble codes first. Make any corrections then create a custom tune per your needs.
All for just slightly higher than the Hypertechs and diablo's.
Look them up on www.gm-trucks.com

Have a look at the site http://performancetrucks.net/forums/ you will find actual dyno results from the different programmers and any questions you have on modifications to your truck.
