k&n flame arrestor

k&n flame arrestor
Hey guys,i am running about 509 bbc and have a k&n spark arrestor velocity stack they call and a air scoop in my hatch they the arrestor sits in when closed.Is there anything else that i should use instead of a k&n,i have been hearing alot about how restrictive they are,whats the deal???

hey ak,
I'm pretty sure you have read the current thread on flame arrestors. It seems hard to believe that the K&N is such a HP robber however I would believe it and look into the gafrig or similar. Go as big as your hatch will allow.
