Question Where can I get some purple carpet?

I need a piece of marine-grade purple carpet for my boat about 6 foot by 8 foot. I plan to cut it to fit my cockpit, have it "edged" and add snaps.

I've checked all of the carpet suppliers I could find on the net, but no luck! Anyone have any ideas? Anyone have a leftover piece that they want to sell?

It's purple in the AT I recently bought- I don't know who their supplier is but I'm sure Steve or Pat could tell you.

Call Midwest Fiberglass @ 319-232-1268. I was told by them the 40 oz. marine carpet is very hard to work with. They have a supplier who does all the fab work for them. They had several local canvas and tarp people try to sew trim on the edges with no luck. I know they can get purple.

I would be very interested to hear where you locate some at too as I'm looking for a bright red carpet to put in mine. I would like to have a snap in so I'm interested in how you tackle it.
