Default Craig Barrie on Donzi

Had a couple of interesting—at least to me— recent chats with Craig Barrie of Donzi. Here's what he had to say,

To borrow from a famous (or infamous) former U.S. President, let me be perfectly clear: I do not believe the high-performance powerboat industry is out of the economic woods. Far from it. But I am at heart an optimist, so when I'm always looking for rays of light. And if I can't find rays, I'll take specks.

Craig is one of the best people I have delt with in the marine industy and I'm sure he is a big reason of Donzi moving invintory in this market, Even when I was still deciding to buy the Dragon or other brands he stayed in constant contact with me, and once I bought the boat he still called me 2 to 3 times a week, I have heard a lot of nightmares of boat purchasing, and I have experianced it myself over the years...but working with Craig has been great experiance...and he will be the guy I contact when purchasing another high performance boat,

Good write up Matt

Dissappointed they weren't at Miami this year.

I agree,

helped a friend buy a used boat from him years ago, and everything was taken care of.

I first met Craig when he had Dragon Powerboats off I595 in Ft. Lauderdale. We went to his welder's shop to see how Gino's rollcage was coming along.

I know Craig will bring a whole new dimension to Donzi's customer relations, some of which have been unfortunately exposed on this site.

Craig I know you'll make The Man proud of you.
