underwater leds?

Default underwater leds?

i did a search but the post were a little old. i wanted to ask the guys who have them what they think. who has the best light for the best price? i dont have to have the brightest or biggest but i want something of good quality. who's lights are you using? where are you buying them from? i was thinking about 2 of the ocean led a6, what do ya think? Did you see tanks thread on them? It was only about 5 months ago I think. Lots of good info on that one.

so would the a6's be bright enough or do i need to spend the extra doe for the a12's or the shadow chasers

HRRN,
I am a Marine Electronics Dealer and we install lots of lights. Not sure what size boat you are putting them on but if it is over 30' I would recommend at least 2ea Ocean LED A12's. They also have a PRO series which is even brighter.

I just put three of the a6's on my formula and there is plenty of light.

The difference I noticed btween the A12's and the A6's are that the A12's show more of a beam instead of a hue. Kind've hard to exlain but the A12's shoot light out farther but closer to the boat you can see more of a beam than with the A6's.

Somone on here has the A6's (2) on their Cig and it looks really nice. I think if you went with a couple A6's you'd be very happy.

The install project for my boat is in this months Powerboat Magazine that shipped this week (it'll be on the shelved or in your mailbox this week).
