I spoke to Rick after speaking with you and I think I'm all set. Is there anything that needs to be provided prior to the event? Thanks for your efforts Norm.

Chuck,
You and any passengers will each need a helmet and life vest. Your boat will also have to be equipped with an ignition kill switch which attaches to the driver.
All drivers will also have to sign a waiver/release form and attend a mandatory drivers meeting on the day of the event.
There is no entry fee this year since it's the first year but you and each guest will have to buy a ticket to the Awards Banquet on Saturday evening. More details to come on that very soon. We have another meeting at the Mayors Office this Friday.
We are still looking for sponsors so please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks
Norm

How is everyone launching their boats on Lake George? Of course I know there are ramps. Is there a marina that has a travel lift for the larger boats? Would like to bring up my 415 Stinger she's weighing in a robust 14k lbs! Ha! Thanks Tom.

I have seen a 46 Black Thunder launched off the trailer at Fischer's Marina. No problem.

Shoreline Marine and Restaurant has offered their launch ramp which is located right next door to the Village docks. No lift however. Contact Performance Marine in Bolton Landing (518-644-3080) and ask Jason or Rick for their opinion on your specific launch needs as well as how to qualify for participation in the Offshore Demonstration. The Village has also offered the ramp at the Million Dollar Beach which is just down the road from the village docks.

Count me and my driver in, as long as Frankie gets my motor finished in time.. Ill be sure to have the boat all dressed up with race #'s and sponsors for the event. Let us know if there is anything that we can assist with, Were more than glad to lend a hand.

Paul.
