Bought a Formula233 today but the guy told me it was a 1978 which is fine but the hull ID# Says F 2312188 Last i knew the last two digits were the year, does this apply to the formulas too or??? Also does anyone know what the other #s represent? thanks for any info on this boat. Has twin 165 straight 6 mercs also if this helps thanks

Try getting the engine serial numbers. They sound original. 1978 sounds right. The 233 was not in production in 1988.

I'm thinking a 1968 is why i'm trying to find out. I know it's not a 88. The last two digite are 88 on the hull# though.
