Question Did you feel the earthquake this morning?
The quake as I un derstand was 50 miles southwest of Plattsburg NY at 6:50 AM, and was a 5.?. We felt it in the Buffalo area. But I thought it was probably just thunder! Wrong!

A quake in up-state NY?
I thought the ground was mostly granite?

The quake was just outside of plattsburgh new york. No reports of damage, but i sure had a wake up call!!!!

You guys are CRAZY for living in NY. One of thse days, one of those earth quakes will happen and the whole state will break off and fall into the ocean!!!

Sorry...I couldnt pass up the opp. Not very often us Californians get to say that about anyone else!!!
