Default What do you guys have for an audio system on your boat

Just curious on what you guys have. I currently have 4 JBL 6X9s each with their own 100 watt amp. (not sure why it came wired that way) But im looking to add 2 or 3 subs in my bench seat. What do you guys reccomend? In previous boats i hooked up a 2000 watt amp to a pair of 12 inch subs and it sounded great, This time around im thinking of going with kicker marine 10 inch subs, but im not sure how much bass that will provide. Let me know what you have, how much you paid, and any pics if available... Thanks!

I've got a set of Orion 6 1/2" seperates up front, 2 10" boston acoustics G5 subs mounted in Mcleod enclosures that are mounted on the seat bottom my bolsters, and I "think" I'm going to mount a set of 6 1/2" seperates in the seats backs of the bolsters firing back and a set of 6 1/2" coax speakers in the cabin. The past owner had it that way but the speakers are gone now. For amps I'm running 3 1990's Orions sx amps- an SX 150, SX 275 and an SX 250. All together I've got around 900 watts. I haven't fired anything up yet but it should sound great.

I am in the process of installing 8 6.5" alpines in the cockpit and 2 6.5" in the berth. For a sub I will have one JL 10w1 in a sealed enclosure which is built into the seat base. I plan to drive the 6.5" in the cockpit with a 300 watt alpine amp and the single JL wit a JL 250/1 mono amp. I just finished the side panels and will post some pics if I get a chance.

Single Memphis Belle 5-channel amp running four JL Audio 6.5's and 1 10" JL sub. The Memphis is a solid amp. Has stood up to the humidity well. Very solid punch to the sub but also handles the sub-bass well. Love the sound almost as much as my home system.
