Default Just got a 38 special!

Hey guys i just picked a 38 special with fresh 503's, i have not driven it yet but it sure looks promising. There is only two problems with it, and im hoping you guys can help me out.

1) The rubber pads on the swim platform and steps seem to be disintegrating, looking to buy new rubber.

2) The toggle switches on the dash are very brittle for sun exposure and starting to break, also looking to replace.

Other then that the boat looks mint, im getting a custom wrap done and will post pictures went completed. I see some of you guys are taking off the windshield, anyone have any pictures?

38 special is a great baja. Congrats on the buy. I would look for switch covers from great lakes skipper, Dave from XT, or brian41. Problem is that you can find the covers but they aren't labeled.

I recovered the swim deck pads with a product called aqua mat or something similar.
It comes in colors and different textures ie. ribbed, diamond plate, and smooth as well. Its the stuff that's in the footwells on wet bikes. Works great, adds some bling.
The hardest part was patterning the elongated oval and cutting the inserts so the ribbed grooves were all parallel.

Great boat you can take the whole party, SERIOUSLY, enjoy it, contact XT Innovators for any work or parts you may need.
