I am looking at buying a 28 american offshore 2007, it is a deck boat style. it has 68 hours and is extremely clean. any one heard anything about these boats good or bad?

what is the HIN number. I can tell you what motor came in the boat. Most of these boats were sold with the 496 mag HO motor which is a good motor and came with a 2 year mercury factory engine. If you question the motor get it inspected by a reputable mercury dealer.

I don't understand the " bad moyor comment"
As far as the boat is concerned it is the best handling and best construction in the industry.

We made all new molds in 2007 and the boats were all produced in California. All had full gell coat graphics. from the HIN I can tell if it was the older or newer molds. both handle the same and both had good construction.
