Meals on Wheels Poker Run June 11th thru 13th 2010. On Lake Hartwell, Portman Marina, Anderson, SC. This event is back on and will be the best ever. More info and web site to follow for pre registration and run info.

Who's putting it on this year? I know the power squadron used to help with it.

My understanding the Power Squadron is still involved with some outside help. So far what i have heard is it is going to be bigger and better than ever. Pre registration is at Bullfeathers(Old Charlie T's) June 11th with a dinner and live band Sat Night @ Portman Marina after the run June 12th.Payouts for this run sounded pretty good but have not seen it on paper yet so dont want to give any bad info, waiting on one of the guys to get me the rest of the info so I can get it out to all of you. The run is on so make plans hope to see all the boys from the south running. 100 miles plus of fun!

Ok I'm lost on the DB's ordered but the Pre registration is at Bullfeathers Bar and Grill which has dock for boaters in Anderson, SC Exit 19A on I85 N 1/2 mile off interstate. Poker Run Starts and finishes at Portman Marina Exit 14 I85N just across GA state line. Not sure of # of boats just yet waiting on web site to come up. Last numbers I heard was 75 plus and rumor has a $1500 payout with a $50 entry. Please dont hold me to payout but entry is correct. Helicopter filming and live band with dinner get together after the run. Should be the biggest from my understanding yet. This event has been canceled due to low water conditions. So making up for the last yr this was not scheduled. Working on links to web site as soon as site is finished.

In the past there has always been between 80-100 boats. It's for a good cause and it is always real layed back.

The decibel (dB) = Noise ordinance.
So if I understand this correctly, we can get a room around the first marina and keep the boat in the water.
