Default Stainless Marine Exhaust Manifolds (2 Sets) 496 or 502

I have 2 sets of Stainless Marine Exhaust Manifolds with mounting hardware for 496. Longer risers than stock with a better sound than stock and better power than stock. Perfect inside no corrosion I flush all the time.

$2150 (I will pay shipping/included) for the pair want to sell soon! (like in the next week)

Bring offers...

I will consider splitting up.

I think I'm one of the guys that Air Time is talking about. I need to replace manifolds on a pair of stock 502 Mag MPI's in a Formula 400ss and they have the extra 3" riser block. I know that the manifolds will work if I get the SAE fasteners (vs metric) but I'd also need different risers so by the time I got those these probably don't make sense for me. This is a GREAT deal for someone though. Good luck with the sale

Thanks, Pat

So 496/502 do not have the same bolt pattern as a more standard BBC or simply the hardware is different?

They have the same exhaust flange bolt pattern but the 496 / 8.1 uses metric fasteners and the 454/502 uses regular american fasteners. The bolt holes in the manifolds will accept either but the treaded holes in the cylinder head are obviously different. In addition the brackets for shift linkage, ECU mount, and oil filter are different between the two. That woundn't be a problem in my case (just fabricate some brackets) but my boat also has the extra 3" riser block under the stock risers. I need new risers with the extra 3" hieght built in so it'll all line up with my current silent choice set up. These are a great deal for someone with a 454/502 if they can make the risers work.

Thanks, Pat

I did talk to Jerry at SSM about getting different risers but by the time I got what I need I'm approaching the cost of what I can get all new stuff for from another guy that Air Time turned me on to. Believe me, if these had the 502 EFI bracketry and the extra 3" rise my $$ would have been on the way.

Thanks, Pat
