On my naturally aspirated 540 with AFR Heads, a Victor manifold, and a 1050 Dominator carb... picked up 11 horsepower on the dyno with a 1" super-sucker carb spacer.

Are you having your motors dynoed?? I have a similar set up and have been thinking about throwing them on.

Added 5HP at 200 more rpm. Recommend getting your motor dynoed to confirm not just any HP increase, but at what rpm.

What style is everyone using? And where do you get the best price from? I'm looking at buying 2 for my HP500s build-up project.
Thanks,
Dean

Any 1" carb spacer will pick up a few HP on the top end. They increase the velocity from the carb. I use the $10 ones from JEGS. Same increase in HP. The increase depends on the engines ability to take advantage. Some engines don't see any advantage.

Do the dyno work and experiment with some that your dyno guy has laying around before buying anything.

Good luck with your experiment.
