Its a XCS v bottom. Re-doing and redesigning the entire interior, rebuilding the entire engine stroking it to a 505 with all hi-performance inside guts with brotex aluminium heads with m-4 procharger along with r tech intercooler and nickerson tunded carb oh approx. 850-900+ hp i am guessing. What are your thoughts uncle dave about the stock bravo 1 ? Thinking of xr outdrive but don t know how long this bravo 1 will last me? any thoughts? Will try to post some pictures soon its pretty cool rebuild.

I think extreme1 is pretty right on. You could baby it totally and it might live a while but you arent building this to baby.
You are going to need a built XR to handle this power and even then it will be marginal- better to go with an Imco SCX.
What do you have for steering? You're going to need a real steering system as well.

I know that boat bottom pretty well....check with Lavey to see how they think it will run great with 900hp....??? Not sure that is the bottom you would want for that power.
Don't get me wrong....love the boats but they run on the uncomfortable edge with huge power. I don't think there is a pad and it will most likely chine hard well before you utilize all the power your interested in....so why build the power if ya cant use it?!?!?!
I'm looking, for the last few days, at Lavey 21's....but I'm going for stock family reliable fun.
As fun as 900hps would be you will chew up a Bravo XR quickly...one little hop out of the water and with a good load you'll snap a shaft or tear gears.
Just my opinion and having owned two Laveys myself...hey maybe 3.....
