replace/rebuild silent choice air cylinder

I have a bad cylinder for one of my merc silent choice diverters. The shaft that comes out of the cylinder is bent. The merc replacement is pretty pricey so I was wondering if anyone has come across an aftermarket option to repair or replace these.
I'm also considering picking up a used set of clamp-on mufflers and then just leaving both diverters open all the time. Do the clamp-ons make much of a difference at low speeds...around the docks etc? Thanks.

Well i guess we'll see when they get here, but I think I just bought two new pneumatic cylinders that are nearly identical to the merc cylinder for a grand total of $45. A single merc cylinder is ~$320. Part number:
