Default Anyone elses F250 or similar ride extremely bad?

I have an 05 harley davidson f250. I just hauled my boat about 35 miles today and we got beat to death. The truck is rather rough anyway but towing today was horrible. I feel like the tire pressure called for in the tires i extremely high. I mean driving down the road on cruise control you can watch the front end of this thing bounce probably 2 inches. Anyone have any suggestions other than trade it in for a chevy...dodge... blah blah blah. Got about 130k on the truck now.

How much tongue weight do you have on it you may want to look into airbags or something for the back it might help. I put add helper springs in my avalanche to keep my truck level when towing my boat but it doesn't affect the ride it when not towing

Kinda confusing, is it rough as in stiff or rough as in mushy bouncy?
An F250 is supposed to ride stiff as its a heavy duty truck not a minivan but its not supposed to be bouncy/mushy unless the shocks or something else is worn out.

I had an 04 that beat me to death, but it had an 8" lift and 38's. The leaf spring front suspension didn't help, but I think in 05 they went to coil springs.

Go to aftermarket shocks on the truck.
Look into your towing geometry. You could be placing too much strain on the truck when going over bumps; and overwhelming the suspension.

I have Edlebrock shocks on a 2000 PSD dually (leaf spring front), and now tow with a Myco trailer, vs. an aluminum I-beam. My GF used to have to hold her chest on certain roads it was so bumpy. It rides MUCH better with the shocks and better trailer.

How many miles on your tires? New tires can go a LONG way to improve ride. You have many variables.

Sydwayz is right, look to your shocks and tires. Here's a product that will help too;

http://mrtruck.net/springs.htm

I didn't know Ford put leaf springs on the front. Why did they do that?? Is your truck 4wd? If so check this site out too. One or more of your parts may be worn and need replacing;

play with the tire pressure and factory shocks are garbage. Custom springpaks really arent hat expensive and can also make a big difference.

Bilstein shocks will improve the ride a lot.
