What up bro? Hey, I'm still interested in meeting some of the fellas for the big RAT RUN. Are you still planning on Friday, May 3rd? If so, what time and where should I meet up with you? There are NO women permitted on this run right? Thanks for your help.

The Rat Run is still on for May 3. Caincando 1 will be rope boy in the Pantera.

There are a number of places to meet:

1. At Great River Harbor just south of Alma WI. That's where we'll be putting in. Around 7:30 AM!

2. At Pioneer Supper Club. Free breakfast and pick up a Rat Run T-Shirt. 7:30 - 9:00 AM.

3. Long Point on Lake Pepin. This is the main spot where everyone meets. 60+ boats 2 yrs. ago. 10:00 - noon.

We can meet up at one of these places or anywhere in between.

If you can't make it to Pioneer and want a shirt, let us know. We'll pick one up for ya!

there is only one lock that we will be going through. Lets hope the water goes down. After looking at the weather, we had better pack some warm cloths.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of the OSO fellas. One additional question: Is the Pioneer Restaurant north or south of the lock in Alma? If it's north of the lock, I might launch the boat on that side of the lock. Otherwise, I'll just launch with you guys. BTW, the river doesn't look high in Prescott. Is it high down by you?

That's great that your gonna make it. You are correct, no woman on the run but afterward at the harbor its all good. The Pioneer is above the lock in Alma. The only place to launch on the MN side would be all the way up in Wabasha. Or else on the WI side there is a marina on the north side of ALma. But its only a couple of more miles to drive(about 5) and you will be at out harbor. Its just a couple minuete boat ride from our harbor to the lock, then the pioneer is just a few second boat ride from the lock. So its really no big deal to lock through unless we get cought by a barge. We monitor the marine radio pretty good so that doesn't happen. I'd give you a hard time but we're rarely ever on the water before noon ourselves Its great that your coming. Best place to find us will be on the north side of Long Point(Lake City). We'll be the ones with the boats smaller that your. .

If either of you two have an extra seat, I may have to bum a ride in a big boat. I can play double duty as ropemonkey for more than one boat.

Now I'm really getting excited!!!
