Default 2010 Chevy 3500 HD with Duramax Motor

I'm looking to purchase a 2010 Chevy 2010 with a Duramax engine with the Allison transmission.

Has anyone herd anything good/bad about this truck? I've heard horror stories about the Ford F350's so I think I'm going with a Chevy.

What truck do you have now? If you can, wait for the 2011 Fords and the new Scorpion diesel. Or you could buy the new 2010 Dodge Laramie now. GM trucks are fugly IMO.

A good friend has a '10 2500HD Duramax and he LOVES it! He came out of a '09 Ford F250.

Thats what I run except mines a 2500HD. This is my third duramax/allison combo. I wont go back to anything else unless I have to. Bought my 10' in June in 2009 and have 24k on it... no issues at all and I get 17 city, 24 highway at 75mph unloaded... pulling the sonic I get 17 on the highway at the same speed!!! Love it!
