help my new livorsi tachs are bouncing all over once they get over 3000 rpm , both motors are doing it, the stock farias are fine , motors are 502 mpi , i made sure cyl. 5 and 7 were seperated, any suggustions much appriciated

Call Livorsi, you may need filters for the tachs. Had the same problem when I replaced a Faria tach with a Livorsi on my last boat. Engine was a 502 mpi.

thanks for the advice ,i called livorsi and they want me to send them back,they said they dont know why they are eratic and will check them ,kinda hard to believe they dont know why

x2 dcb is correct had the same problem with mine after replacing the formula tachs called livorsi and they sent me external filters and solved the problem.

Mine started doing this and I ended up replacing the cap's and wire's and all was good. But there starting to do it every now and again!

mine did it right out of the box brand new,never even had it in the water yet just runnin on the hose ,livorsi said send them cause they didnt know wat was wrong, they sent them back and charged me 20 bux for filters inline from the coil, simple install.now if the battery in my gps would just work all would be good lol
