Default Scarab III Prop Q

What are you guys with scarab III's running? I am thinking bravo I 4 blade 22's.

I have the 34 Super Sport with sterndrives and recenly freshened engines. Somewhere in the 350 - 375 horse range.

Trying to get it dialed in but want to buy right the first time so I figured i would ask the pro's on here.

Thanks

Andy

If TRS drives, then they are way deep. You will probably want to run Mirage props. Use BBlades test program and just pay shipping to test props.

Bravo I's. Had Mirage plus 21's on it when i got it. I bought it with a blown engine so I never got to run it. I rebuilt the engines and put it in the water and nothing but slip at any decent throttle up. i could ease into it but it was not hooking up at all. The guy working on my boat put a set of 22 cleavers he had laying around and it was night and day, but still slipping all over. Ken at prop gods has recommended 4 blade 22's or 23's. I think I will that and see.

I just figured someone with a similar boat could help the process.

Thanks

Andy
