Default Gentlemans offshore...need help!

Considering a 38 Powerquest or Donzi ZX any help would be appreciated. make a good amount of weekend trips across lake erie.
What would be a fair price for a 98-99 38 zx with low hours and al. trailer?

Thanks Guys

Scott

There's a pretty nice 38' Donzi on here for $89,900.

Personally I prefer the Donzi to the Powerquest, but there is a well taken care of '95 38 Powerquest in MI for $57,500.

If I were you I would also look into the 38 Hustlers. I love those boats. They don't have as many amenities as the Donzi's but they are sweet rides!

I have a 2007 Formula 353 with 525's that just came in on trade today. I will be taking pictures and listing it either tomorrow afternoon or first thing Monday morning.

Formula = Gentleman's Offshore!

If you're going to be sleeping on the boat, the Powerquest cabin is a little bit more roomy and I believe the the ZX has an overwidth beam as far as trailering goes. Both good choices though.

I would go with the Donzi. I have a couple friends who own/owned both 38zxs and 33zxs and they love those boats. Good balance of speed, creature comforts, and room both in the cabin and cockpit.

You cant go wrong with either but i am partial to the 38 ZX

Great performance and quality plus, in my opinion, its the best looking boat ever built. Truly a gentlemans offshore if there ever was one. I make the trip regularly across the western Erie basin in just about any conditions no prob.

Both great boats, the 38 Avenger has alot of cabin for a 38 and is truely a comfortable package, the Zx does not have the cabin size the PQ has, both great boats but in my opinion the PQ has more room if you plan on overnighting on it.

Might want to check with performancemary in the PQ forum, I know he was selling his poker run addition 38 with 575's, very nice piece.
