Default 93 42' Baja

Anyone know the story on this boat?

Is it stag twins or trips? Good/Bad hull design, etc...

They are big pigs. I would assume it is a trip setup. I know nothing about that particular boat, but without motors, drives & transom assemblies you're looking at spending some large $$ to get it floating again.

Ya, I know its a pig... but after tearing mine apart and redoin part of it, i've got an itch to do something big... Thought was put some cheaper used engines in it with some decent drives and start usin it.. then save up for some serious power....

BTW... let me know when you're goina be out on table rock... I'd like to meet up with ya!

Just don't think its worth it unless you just have 3 motors and 3 drives and all the hardware laying around.
16K for boat
15K for motors??
10K for drives
5K for hardware and labor

46K for a 1993 pig, better off just buying a complete boat on Yacht auctions like an old SONIC, they are big., but hey just my 2 cents.

see for me, labor is free... and hardware is near free....

its the twin vs. trips that would be the deal breaker... i can handle twins, but not trips. gets too costly off the bat.

Offer them a little less for the boat and make it worth your wild. There are a lot of parts on this site for good prices and if your thrifty and you are doing your own wrenching you could get it up and running for a resonable about of money....you may be sick of it by the time you are finished with it though. I would not even make an offer on it site unseen.....that thing may have been stored out in the weather for years and have a long list of problems.....

Well if that is the situation, maybe seal up the middle hole and just do twins??? Its not like you will depreciate it anymore, heck it might even make it worth more???
