Default Copycat Covers in Flordia

Has anyone used these guys?

www.copycatcovers.com

Any thoughts good or bad I would like to hear them. I am not worried about doing to the work myself. I used to build custom speaker enclosures from fiberglass and we would cover it with vinyl.

The price is right. About 10% of what a normal boat upholstery shop would charge.

I will give a full report as time goes on just wondering if anyone else has dealt with them.

Rob

There is a thread on copycat covers in the Do It Yourself section, but it got way off course and out of hand. Nothing to do with copycat covers though.

when I wanted to redo my sunpad I called them and prices where pretty close to what the local shop charged.

they start by telling you that you can do a complete cockpit on a boat for about $1.000.00 to $1.200.00 but thats for a 20 foot Bayliner or some like it.then when I emailed them pictures the price jump to what everyone else gets.

I have a friend using them right now as we speak. I recommended them from reading good reviews here on OSO. Now its been three months and they are just running him in circles. They promise it will ship out yesterday and he will have the complete interior this Tuesday, lets see. Their excuse was that one of the guys working there just got fired cause he was mis quoting prices and unrealistic time schedules.

I just had some headrest panels done on my boat. The work was great. The quality of material and workmanship was super. An unemployed trim shop guy looking for side jobs wanted 3 times the price to do the same job. Work was done in 1 week. I will use them again.

The turn around time was a little less than 2 weeks and all my Skins are under Warranty for Material and Labor for 5 YEARS!

I would recommend anyone to Copycat! I was pleased by the work but just importantly I was impressed by the professionalism and customer service delivered.

I will post pics soon....
Really?

how about some pictures

I know this is an older post, but I've tried reaching these guys 4 different times via email and/or phone calls and nothing back in return...
