If someone could help me with this question. We were at Lake Winni yesterday to look at a house for rent every thing looks good,but there are only a few docks and some get rented for the summer. We have heard you can not anchor your boat in fear of law enforcement and a ticket. But can we tie up to one dock and raft off the fixed boat to the dock. This is a private house and we don`t want to create any problems. We do have our own ramp but would like not to have to pull the boats every day.

Most likely one of the neighbors might make a call to the marine patrol about a boat moored that is not normally there or has a mooring bouy. However, tied off to a boat at the dock (obviously if that boat owner is fine with it) is no problem whatsoever. There is not a law in the books that would prevent that.

O, thanks I talked to the MP`s and asked if we would be alright, they said it would be fine as long as everything was in writing with the owner. We are coming up the week of Aug 8. The house also has a private ramp so if we need to pull out it won`t take long. The house is in Pagus bay. Last year we stayed at the Nas it was fine but it rained for 4 daysI would like to see what Braun bay looks like on a Sunday We should meet for a cold one that week.

WE were going to rent two houses my whole family after the speed limit stuck, I told my family maine will be where we are going if I find room for 11. it was a compound with beach and the dogs could come at winni Iwant to call the guy back and tell him why we did not commit to a date. I figured by aug I would have the boat running if Dean finishes my motor in two weeks but ite been two weeks since last aug.
