I installed a new mercruiser style trim pump with my used motor, the pump works fine but the gears are very loud something does not seem right. Has anyone ever had a problem with these pumps being loud and what was the cause. Thanks Jp

I had the same thing happen on the last boating trip.

I may end up replacing the motor on the trim pump assembly unless one of the much smarter guys on here tells me otherwise...

(Fresh SAE 30 weight oil every season...)
