i have a 89 baja sport 250 that has never had trim tabs on it. i have the chance to get some k planes for around 400 bucks but then you add the cost of pumps, wiring, switches, indicators, cables, hoses........ and all of a sudden i have well over 1500 invested. i also have access to a set of insta trim dual ram tabs off of a similar sized baja. i am somwhere around 450hp, dont ever plan to get over like maybe 500-525 even with future mods... if i am gonna have to upgrade later i would rather just do the right tabs now. do i need k planes at this point? i was looking into those martini tabs and was getting excited about those until i noticed that it appears that the company is no longer around . any other options or will one of these suit me ok?

look at what lenco or bennedt have to offer,i have used lenco before.they are a all eletric ram,not hydro.alittle easer on the pocket.get the h/p modle.they are alittle bit stronger than the standard tabs.you should come around 700.00 for a set

if i go to a tab like that i can get the insta trims from my buddy for a case of beer but i need to get new indicators which are like 250 bucks. i just dont wanna install them then decide that i want k planes and have to deal with the extra holes in the boat

The dual ram tabs should be fine for what you're looking for.

There are trim tabs & then there are K-Planes. There is no comparison between the two.
Buy the K-Planes & get a real tab that isn't a piece of sh!t.

k planes in the mail. got what sounds to be a good deal. i need pumps and indicators if anyone has some they wanna let go cheap.
