WTB a full cover for my 280
#1
Hi Guys,
Where's the best pace to buy a full boat cover.
I think I bought a full cover for my 24' Superboat at Coverquest for like $250.
I would like to spend less than $350 this go around...
Thanks,

Boatersland.com I have bought two covers from them. They stock Taylor Made and ship fast. Prices are real good. I was unable to find anyone who was close. I paid $195 for my 260 cover.

I was just on their website and for some reason their boat cover page is not working properly. I would give them a call. Below I have listed the model numbers for each color cover in case you decide to order a Taylor Made for Boatersland.com.
The cover is designed for "Day Cruiser" which is Taylor Made definition of our typpe of boat. The covers listed below are designed for boats with a Centerline measurement of 25' 5" - 26' 4". Which should fit your Velocity 280 as it is a 26' Hull. Taylor Made does not list a Velocity Hull in their catalog, so if asked use a 1985 Baja 26' Boat. When selecting my cover I choose a Baja 24' Baot (I have a 260).
These are the 5 year warranty material models:
Pacific Blue 88026OB
Hunter Green 88026OF
Gray 88026OG
Navy 88026ON
Teal 88026OT
Burgandy 88026OY
2 year Warranty Poly Cotten: (I wouldn't buy this one)
Gray 88026
I will take a picture of the taylor made cover on my 260 later today. It fis really good, and is made with a very durable material.

OK, I ordered a Westland cover for a 28' Offshore Day Cruiser.
I went with the 27'6"-28'6" X 102" so that the swim plateform would be covered too. $330 including the vented pole option and shipping.

I got my new cover last night. Pulled the tarp off and got it on just before the rain started. The cover fits OK, but I wish it came down below the rub rail a little bit more. I would not trailer the boat with this cover but I had not planned to anyhow. The cover will work for what I wanted and the price was right. I'll snap a picture this weekend.
