Default Sea strainer locations? Pics?

I am about to install strainers in my 32 and am wondering if anyone has any pics or recommendations on where to put them.

Have you decided how to take care of the sand problem? I can't seem to find sand strainers at all.
As for location, when I looked at my 32 I think I would put one on the starboard side stringer, and the main stringer running down the middle. that way they would be as close to the sea water pumps as possible.

I think that i am going to drill my block off plates for a thru fitting , and attach a hose . Run the hose to my strainer with a valve. IF I know that I am coming into questionable territory I can switch to bringing water from there. (At Idle speed only) I am going to remove the boots off of the gimbal housing exhaust port ,and i think that it will get enough water from there. It may or may not work , if it doesnt , I can either pull the hose and plug the plates . Or at the end of the season remove motors and change plates completely. I have them programmed into a cnc file so I can make more with no trouble.

I can't see how you could plug it without removing the motors, but you will have more room without the y pipe.

There was the same question in the general section and someone posted a link to valves that could be operated with a dash switch. KYboy started it, you may want to do a search.
