Remember Gina the Miracle kitten?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gina is doing great! Lives in OK with my sister in law.

This is Mercedes the wonder puppy!
He was found in the street by my office half dead drinking from a tiny puddle of mud. They said he is a mutt but primarily Lab, She has been at the vet for 2 days and as of this morning it appears he is going to make it! I', not sure if i have a home for him or not, but i may be looking. He has about another week in the hospital. He is very malnourished. Barely 3 lbs!
Thank God we got him to the vet in time! They said one more day on the streets and......

He is named after the MERCEDES BOAT (temp name) so hopefully this post won't be moved. I got a feeling I may be looking for a home for him.

These critters are ruining your image as a hard-ass guy...

Good for you!

I bet the dog was a whole lot easier to pick up and carry inside than you would be. I remember a time just trying to wake you up to get you out of my car so I could head home.

You're a good man Gino.

Here's to ya......

My daughter works at our local Humane Society, and we have 2 pound puppies as a result. One of which was horribly neglected and mistreated as a pup. She was taken away from a home because they actually had intentionally burned her and she has a long scar down her spine as a result. We fell in love with her, but were warned that she would be skittish around strangers as a result of her previous treatment. Now she is an incredible loving, stable dog. No one gets in our house without a huge greeting from her.

What you are doing is amazing and highly respected. There's not many who would do what you are doing. God love ya!
