Could the twin 500's pull off 80 mph?

Two 500hps might get you close to 80, but 502 mags? I really think I would have to say no. More like low to mid 70s. I have been surprised before though.

That boat will run about 72-74 mph witht those motors. I did look at the guages and it has the same ones my old 24 Outlaw had. The speedo in this boat probably does read close to 80 mph. Those guages were way off on speed. If you go to test drive it, take a hand held GPS with you to show real speed. Then if you like the boat, you can get it for less since it most likely will not go 80
