Default Konraad Outdrives

Hi,I am a newbie here and would like to know the maximum HP and at what max rpm input from diesel engines that could be handled by Konraad drives?

for a gas motor i think it's 800 hp . but with a diesal im sure it would be a lot less becuase they have so much more torq.
best way to find out is call them direct .

According to their web site it is 738 foot pounds of torque.

Thanks to all for the reply! Dont know how much 738 foot pounds of torque translates to in kW/hp.Need very good performance with the maximum hp diesels for my design (currently designed for for jets) as per link below.The local NZ supplier of Konraad has not responded yet.

Crazy Charlie Amorosi who owns the 39' Velocity "Tsunami2" has run Konrads for I think the last 4 years. He has had up to 800hp gas engines hooked up to them and has had zero issues.

Prior to that, Charlie was a collector of blown up Bravos.....all from his boat LOL!

Not to mention Charlie's Spectre was always in the Top 10 Boats to the Tappan Zee Bridge on the NY Hudson Poker Run...
