SBC 350 Mag Exhaust Headers
#1
I'm looking into headers for a 2009 350 Mag engine and see a good selection from these companies: CMI / Hardin Marine / Lightening / Bassett all headers not manifolds, ( although I did call Dana to see if they offered their polished manifolds for my SBC and they don't at this time)
So my question is; on a single engine, smaller 22' open bow boat who's exhaust would you choose and why?
Being from WI my first choice would be CMI but for the price for theirs doesn't include the tails which bump their price considerably above the others (full kits offered around 2k)

Bob T I'm not what your history is with them but most people that have the CMI's swear by them...you apparently swear AT them
I'm curious what the failures were and what the application was. I'm guessing your unhappy about their warranty resolution with you???
I've run EMI's before and they are a good exhaust but I really wanted tube headers for the new Nordic.
Plus I think EMI's with S.S. raisers are getting pretty close in price to CMI's.
I don't have any experience with Stainless Marine but I know they are famous for their steering components so I'd guess they make a decent exhaust, it just looks so small to me compared to others. How do they keep the ports separated with runners that must be pretty darn short?
