Default motor install help.

Im trying to finish up installing my 500efis ,and one hose has me stumped . It is the hose coming off of the cooling pipe on the lower port side of motor. Appears to be ATF coming out of it. (powersteering) It was cut when i got the motors , so i am assuming it was a feed to somewhere on the boat. Where do i need to run this? I do have dual hydraulic steering.

sounds to be a return line. it should go to a power steering cooler then from cooler to pump return.

thats what i was thinking , but thought why would it have been cut. Unless he had the tank mounted on the boat.?? ,but then again the stock resevoir is still on the motor with the feed and factory return still piped in.

There should be 2 hoses coming off the cooler, one to the reservoir and one from the hydraulic system. There should also be 2 hoses on the reservoir, one to the pump housing and one from the cooler.
