I bought an 05 275 2 weeks ago with 80 hours on it. I could not belive how clean it was when I saw it. The owner stored it inside its whole life. He bought it as a sport boat to go with his cruiser sea ray.
Any way I love it!! This is my first Baja and first performance boat. Could not belive how well it rides and takes the waves. I bought the boat with out even putting it in the water (ran on trailer). Speaking of the trailer, nothing but compliments for the Heritage trailer that came with the boat. Loads easy and trailers even better.
It has a 496ho 425 hp with a bravo1 x drive. What is the difference between the bravo 1 and the bravo 1 X. My wife likes the sound of the exhaust, but she really likes being able to shut it off when the kids were starting to fall asleep and we were idling across the lake in the evening.
When I was able to run it with myself and a good friend and 3/4 tank of gas it ran 68 mph. On another pass it tapped 69, but had some chine walk and backed off. Is this fast for this boat. I was expecting 64-65 max. The stock speedo is a livorsi but it is not a GPS. I plan on verifying these numbers with a hand held GPS soon.

congrats on the new boat!! It should run about 65 -66 depending on conditions. Verify with gps, speedo is not accurate.. mine is crazy and then starts getting closer to right over 50mph. I have a buddy with that boat and they love it as well! good boating!!

I agree, your lie-o-meter is off a little. I think you will find when you check it with a GPS it will be a few mph off---but you don't have to tell your friends riding with you. Congrat's on your new boat. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed our 275.
