NOYHING runs like a CAT. And NO CAT runs like SKATER!!!! The only thing to be mindful of is the increased stress on the center engine upon re-entry. I know different people have used different methods in an attempt to reduce this fatigue as much as possible. I am not as familiar as others so I cannot comment on what works and doesn't but that is the ONLY thing that I would look into. Aside from that it is an AWESOME AWESOME BOAT!!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK!

Hi Boot, and Shane.
Slingshot, I see you are from NJ? where? do you have a cat now? As far as the 32' Skater, High Deck? or Classic? twin or trip 300X? As Shane said, The center engine is not the most reliable thing in the world, This engine is running in constantly changing water, in both height and aeration. Our boat is a 32' low deck, or classic with (2) 300x. I know there have been a few High Deck's done with (2) 300x, but I think most of them have had (3). The low deck or classic runs great with (2), this boat has a little less wind resistance then the high deck. As a pleasure boat the twin set up is great. well balanced and great in the rough.

Phillip,
How are you my friend? I am looking forward to seeing you in May at Skaterfest. After my post i thought of you and your set up and how strong it is. Slingshot, I would DEFINITELY pick Phillips brain for thoughts and ideas.
Best of luck to you.
