Which coolant in a 496 Mag

Which coolant in a 496 Mag
I did a search but didn't find a definitive answer. I have a slow coolant leak on one of my engines. Tired of driving way out of the way to pick up the Merc coolant. Can I just top off with Dex-cool? Will it be the same color as the Merc stuff? Or should I quit being cheap and support Brunswick?
