XR DRIVE 1.50 dwp (many new parts) $5K
XR drive.....1.5 DWP (w/new parts)
Last winter I replaced slightly pitted gears in the upper. 5 hours into the spring I cracked the upper case from overtrimming trying to idle into shallow water (cracked along spanner nut at input shaft). Ended up buying a new upper case, new bearings, new seals, re-used those virtually new upper gears. Lower was stripped, primed, painted, and clear-coated before re-assembly. Lower is a dual water pick-up. Original case was only cracked at input shaft but ruined. Once repaired, this became a spare sitting in the garage. The drive is a 2003-2004 vintage with under 200 hours.
