Ken,
There was a thead a while back that talked about pullers.. I ordered one, but have not used it yet. Here is the info.. found best price from Amazon.com

Do a search, it was highly recommended at the time.

Default Gimbal Bearing Puller

I have a new one...never used..I will let it go for a good price. PM me for price. Here is description:
Gimbal Bearing Puller for Mercruiser, Volvo, OMC Cobra

This tool allows easy removal of the Gimbal bearing.

This has a nice black oxide finish on all the parts to it.

This works on Mercruiser Alpha, Alpha 1, MR, bravo's, OMC cobra's, Volvo's

No more hassles of slide hammer jaws not grabbing and busted knuckles. This tool makes pulling the bearing easy.

This blind hole puller locks into the inner race of the bearing.

To pull you just turn the end of the tool with a wrench, Its that easy.

This is the best price around for a professional Gimbal bearing puller.

Comes with directions on how to use the tool behind the shipping label.

i have several! the axle bearing ( which i have used for tears) works the best..you have to be careful not to pull the seal behind the bearing with it..

I sell them on Ebay along with the drivers.

I have great feedback on these and over $100. cheaper then any other real Gimbal pullers.
If you want one let me know. If we go straight thru Paypal I can save you a little.
