27 Activator getting IMLORed up for racing

27 Activator getting IMLORed up for racing
The new Coast Guard's BOAT RESPONSIBLY RACING TEAM's boat is a 2009 27 Activator, it will be powered by the ILMOR 625 and we are very excited working with the great team at ILMOR. They have been such a pleasure working with them and very professional,
We will be having the boat set up for 2 differant events...
1. Racing in OPA's Class 5
2. Doing special events with speed run's with the Coast Guard (we will be trying to get to 100 mph in the Activator with drive and a few other changes.)
Sharkey has been taking some pics of the conversion from the small block to the ILMOR...we have a number of other changes that will be done with the boat after the Ocean City race next week, the main thing right now is to get the boat at the 1st race and make an appearance.
Smitty and Anthony have been doing a great job in rigging the boat....Hats off again guys....
We look foward to be the 1st race team to run a ILMOR engine in the OPA Racing Series. I think you will see more teams making the power change to them.

tested yesterday 1 motor was a little off. think just the old plugs. Its in the water out back with new plugs and ready to go. Waiting for the tide to come up so I dont suck up any mud on way out of lagoon. But sounds better.
