Default Carb to MPI swap (gen iv)

Here's a project i'm looking at. 510 that dyno'd 535hp. Looking to swap over a customer's MPI system from a '98 454 310hp motor.

haven't messed with the stock stuff much curious what is needed.

Does everything bolt up to a gen iv? Are larger injectors needed for the increase in power to 535? Will a new complete tune be necessary?

Just curious as to the extent this swap would be...

I do not think the 310 hp fuel injection system will flow enough air or fuel to make the 535 hp motor work correctly. You will need a computer retune and bigger injectors for sure with the 310 MPI fuel system. I would look for a fuel system from a Mag system instead.

Some spark might help too

No way the stock 310hp sytem will work without investing more than its worth. A 500efi system might come close with an ecm reprogram.
