June 12th Eufaula Oklahoma Golden Eagle poker run
This will be a big event again this year, bring your fast boats and gas money......
The Golden Eagle Run, an on-the-water poker run, is a fundraiser for LEA, and has more than $40,000 in cash prizes, based on 500 entries. There are cash payouts for the top five hands plus 30 $100 Mystery Cards and five $300 Hopper Hands. Rules of the game are in accordance with five card stud hands. Complete rules are included on the entry form.
Pre-entry fee through June 11 is $175 for five cards, $200 for six. Entry fees the day of the event are $200 for five cards, $225 for six. Included in the entry fee is a Golden Eagle Run T-shirt or hat. Those choosing to pre-enter also will be able to pick up their packets from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 11 at the Lake Eufaula Association office, 701 S. Main St. This is another new feature for the run.
Golden Eagle Run will not only change host sites but will also make a new “course” on Lake Eufaula. Card stops include No. 9 Marina, Evergreen Marina, Area 51 Marina and Thomas Marine Dockside Wake N’ Skate. The first card will be handed out with the entry packet and participants that purchase a sixth card will select it at the final check-in.

LEA Poker run
Lets get some posts going if you will be there this weekend. I will be in a red and white Sonic 45ss with lots of friends, Should be a lot of boats this year. Eufaula cove has a new bar and a few new resturants. Area 51 marina is new this year so the course will be a little longer.
